The River

At the Iguazú National Park, it is possible to make water trips and be part of the Baptism of the Falls.

The main trip of the park is “ The Great Adventure”.

It begins, crossing 8 km of jungle on a double drive open truck, with the possibility of enjoying the flora and hopefully the fauna of the area.

Then you take a semi – rigid raft that goes 6 km on the Iguazú River, crossing the rapids to reach the foot of the falls and make the  “Baptism of the Falls”.

The trip lasts 90 minutes approximately and can be made every day, about each hour from 8 to  5 p.m., its cost: US$ 33 per person.

The superior part of the Iguazú river is used for more quiet trips with rowing boats, and it is easier to watch the flora and fauna of the place. This is known has " Ecological boat trip" and cost US$ 15 per person.

Also you may get the " Green Passport " for US$ 45 per person to do all on a full day experience.

To feel the falls from the boats is an amazing trip
